Morgin and Patrick's Wedding

I haven't been updating lately, but I have been kind of busy.
As mentioned on my website, I occasionally work with various other photographers in the southeast Texas region. I always wait until they have finished posting on their blogs before I release any images.
Last month I had a great time shooting with Allen of BellaFotografica in Beaumont, Texas. It was a bit of a drive for me (just shy of two hours!) but it was definitely worth it. It was heaps of fun and the guys made for some lively subjects that really makes my job a lot easier.

I had the assignment of documenting the guys before the wedding and assisting with shooting the wedding itself as well as the reception.
Here's some shots before the ceremony:

The guys arriving- Patrick is 5th from the right...

To say it was hot outside is like saying the Grand Canyon is just a ditch. Understatement of the year award. I tried to be as quick as I could outside, and the guys soldiered on even with their jackets on!

Two cool cats- Patrick is on the right:

Everybody is so into texting these days...I think they were messaging each other...

The Girls on their way to the ceremony. What you can't see is the baseball field to the right, full of players cheering and hollering. It was pretty funny...

Patrick has Morgin in a tractor-beam..."Brrrrrrrvvvvvtt!"

"No Flash-Photography during the ceremony!" That's OK. The handy, dandy 5D to the rescue!

A little Post-Ceremony ring-shot vintage style...

What an awesome looking cake. Am I right? It was phenomenally delicious, too

Time to cut the Cake!

And an emotional toast...

The night was over early for me since I had to drive back to Houston, but we got some great shots and really covered this Wedding well.

We're already booking weddings into 2010, so if you're still deciding on a photographer for your special day, let us know soon!

Until next time,
Lates
